# 将容量添加到 Tableau Server

您可能需要将容量添加到您的 Tableau Server 安装，以便可以增加用户（如果您有基于用户的许可证），或增加内核数（如果您有基于内核的许可证）。

Tableau 将为您提供新的产品密钥，以便将容量添加到现有 Tableau Server 安装。您需要激活此密钥，并将它与现有的产品密钥一起使用以获取许可的组合容量。每项功能（例如“Data Management”）和许可证类型（例如“Explorer”）都需要密钥。有关密钥和许可证之间的关系的详细信息，请参见[tsm licenses list](https://help.tableau.com/v0.0/server/zh-cn/cli_licenses_tsm.htm#TSMLicenseList)。

请按以下步骤将产品密钥添加至 Tableau Server。

如果您的 Tableau Server 未连接到 Internet，则必须执行脱机激活。请参见[脱机激活 Tableau Server](https://help.tableau.com/v0.0/server/zh-cn/activate_off.htm)。

**注意：**如果您已升级到 Tableau Server 版本 2021.1 或更高版本，您不再需要在增加容量时重新启动 Tableau Server。有关详细信息，请参见[零停机许可](https://help.tableau.com/v0.0/server/zh-cn/license_zero_downtime.htm)。

1. 如果已将运行 Tableau Server 的计算机配置为通过转发代理连接到 Internet，请按照[使用转发代理配置产品密钥操作](https://help.tableau.com/v0.0/server/zh-cn/activate_proxy.htm)主题中的过程进行操作，然后再继续。
2. 在浏览器中打开 TSM：
    
    `https://<tsm-computer-name>:8850`
3. 在“配置”选项卡上单击“许可”，并单击“激活许可证”：

4. 输入或粘贴新产品密钥并单击**“激活”**。

5. 激活许可证后，系统可能会提示您向 Tableau 注册。在“注册”页面上的字段中输入您的信息，然后单击“注册”。

1. 如果已将运行 Tableau Server 的计算机配置为通过转发代理连接到 Internet，请按照[使用转发代理配置产品密钥操作](https://help.tableau.com/v0.0/server/zh-cn/activate_proxy.htm)主题中的过程进行操作，然后再继续。
2. 将产品密钥复制到计算机。
3. 运行以下命令：
    
    `tsm licenses activate --license-key <license key>`
4. 激活许可证后，您可能需要注册 Tableau Server。为此，请创建一个注册文件，然后使用 `tsm register` 命令将其作为选项进行传递。
    
    1. 生成一个可以通过运行以下命令来编辑的模板：
        
        `tsm register --template > /path/to/<registration_file>.json`
    2. 编辑模板文件以创建完成的注册文件。
        
        下面是采用所需格式的注册文件的示例：

    3. 保存对文件进行的更改之后，使用 `--file` 选项传递该文件以注册 Tableau Server：
