# Tableau 平台架构

## Tableau Server

Tableau Server 为您的用户提供了一个全方位的现代分析平台。Tableau 的架构十分灵活，让您在几乎任何位置都能运行该平台。您可以将 Tableau Server 安装在本地、您的私有云或数据中心、Amazon EC2、Google Cloud Platform、MS Azure 或阿里云中。Tableau Server 还可以在虚拟化平台上运行。

## Tableau Cloud

Tableau Cloud 是一种采用“软件即服务”(SaaS) 方式部署的平台，它可以在多租户（共享计算）环境中，通过扩展来大规模地为数千个站点中分散在不同地理位置的众多用户提供服务。Tableau Cloud 利用产品内提供的高可用性功能以及云架构方面的最佳做法来提供可靠的体验。Tableau Cloud 支持采用多种不同网络的混合数据架构，包括本地、私有云和公有云。下图简要描绘了 Tableau 内部部署的 Tableau Cloud：

Tableau 可跨多种不同的网络管理众多不同数据源，包括 SQL Server、PostgreSQL、MySQL、Redshift、Snowflake、Google BigQuery 和平面文件。公有云数据连接通常是直接建立的。对于私有连接，则由 Tableau Bridge 服务池协助实现实时的本地或 VPC 数据库查询功能，以及定期执行的数据提取刷新。
