# Tableau Prep Conductor

Tableau Prep Conductor 使用下列元件執行流程：

- **背景程式：**Tableau Prep Conductor 使用背景程式處理序執行流程。背景程式是單一執行緒，因此節點上的每個背景程式處理序執行個體都可以一次執行一個流程。新增更多背景程式到節點可以在節點上增加可平行執行的流程。背景程式處理序最多可以是該節點物理內核一半的數量。
- **連接器：**Prep Conductor 使用支援的 Tableau 資料連接器連線至資料。有關支援的連接器清單，請參閱[支援的連接器](https://www.tableau.com/zh-tw/products/techspecs)。
- **資料引擎：**任何對無法發佈至基礎資料來源的流程中的資料或轉換步驟的變更都使用資料引擎處理序進行處理。例如，SQL Server 原本不支援規則運算式。連線至 SQL Server 時，Tableau Prep 可讓您撰寫規則運算式計算。Tableau Prep Conductor 使用資料引擎暫時載入資料，然後執行規則運算式。

## 效能和擴展建議

- **將流程隔離到單獨的節點：**在單獨的節點上執行 Tableau Prep Conductor 會將流程工作流程與其他 Tableau 工作負載隔離。強烈建議您執行此操作，因為 Prep 流程會耗用大量 CPU 和 RAM。
- **管理流程排程：**您可以通過建立流程排程來控制流程執行。這些排程可讓您確定流程的執行時間、執行的頻率、排程的優先順序以及是否依序執行該項排程中的項目或平行執行。
- **新增資源：**擴展 Tableau Prep Conductor 環境時，建議每個節點最多擴展到 8 個物理內核，每個內核執行 4 個背景程式。如需更多資源，建議您在伺服器環境中新增更多節點。

## 拓撲和設定
