# SQL Server 模擬

Tableau Server 的上下文中的模擬意味著允許一個使用者帳戶代表另一個使用者帳戶進行操作。您可以對 Tableau 和 Microsoft SQL Server 進行設定以執行資料庫使用者模擬，這樣 Tableau Server 所用的 SQL Server 資料庫帳戶代表同時也是 Tableau 使用者的 SQL Server 資料庫使用者進行查詢。

此功能的主要優點是，它允許管理員在一個位置，即在管理員資料庫中實現和控制其資料安全性原則。當 Tableau 使用者透過 SQL Server 資料庫即時連線存取某一檢視時，該檢視僅顯示該使用者的資料庫權限允許其檢視的內容。另外一個優點是，在開啟檢視時，使用者不必回應資料庫登入提示。另外，工作簿發佈者也不必依賴於使用者特定篩選器來限制檢視中顯示的內容。
