# 啟用 Tableau Catalog

[Tableau Catalog](https://help.tableau.com/current/online/zh-tw/dm_catalog_overview.htm) 可探索 Tableau Cloud 網站或 Tableau Server 上的所有內容並編製索引，包括工作簿、資料來源、工作表、指標和流程。(Tableau Cloud 的舊指標功能於 2024 年 2 月在 Tableau Cloud 和 Tableau Server 版本 2024.2 中已淘汰。有關詳情，請參閱[建立指標並進行疑難排解（已淘汰）](https://help.tableau.com/current/online/zh-tw/metrics_create.htm)。) 索引用於收集有關內容的資訊，或關於內容結構描述和歷程的中繼資料。接著，Catalog 會在中繼資料中識別 Tableau Cloud 網站或 Tableau Server 上內容所使用的所有資料庫、檔案和表格。

## Tableau Cloud 上的 Catalog

Tableau Cloud 取得 資料管理 授權時，Catalog 會自動啟用。

在 Tableau Cloud 網站獲得 資料管理 授權後，Tableau Cloud 網站上已存在的內容將立即編制索引。編製內容索引花費的時間取決於您擁有的內容總量。在初始編製內容的索引之後，Catalog 會監視新發佈的內容及其他資產的變更，並繼續在背景編製索引。

## 疑難排解 Catalog

使用 Catalog 時，您或您的使用者可能會遇到下列其中一個問題。

#### 已超過逾時限制和節點限制的訊息

為確保必須傳回大量結果的 Catalog 工作不會佔用所有 系統資源，Catalog 會實作逾時和節點限制。

- **逾時限制**
    
    Catalog 中的工作達到逾時限制時，您和您的使用者會看到以下訊息：
    
    “_Showing partial results, Request time limit exceeded.Try again later._” 或 TIME\_LIMIT\_EXCEEDED
- **節點限制**
    
    Catalog 中的工作達到節點限制時，您和您的使用者會看到以下訊息：
    
    NODE\_LIMIT\_EXCEEDED
