# 在 Web 上准备数据

在 Tableau Cloud 或 Tableau Server 中连接到数据之后，您可以使用“数据源”页面来设置数据源并准备要分析的数据。具有以 Tableau 期望的方式设置格式的数据对于在 Tableau 中构建视图或执行分析以及向正确的人传递正确的信息至关重要。

本文介绍使用 Tableau Cloud 或 Tableau Server 在浏览器中准备数据。对于在浏览器中准备要分析的数据，尽管 Tableau 支持许多与 Tableau Desktop 相同的功能，不过，若要了解两者之间的具体差异，请参见[Web 制作和 Tableau Desktop 功能比较](https://help.tableau.com/current/pro/desktop/zh-cn/server_desktop_web_edit_differences.htm)。

**有关使数据保持最新的注意事项**：如果连接到发布的**平面文件**（Excel 或文本文件），该数据即使在已修改的情况下也不会刷新。如果您的数据位于**本地服务器**中，并且已通过 Tableau Desktop 发布到 Web，它将呈现为数据提取并且将不会刷新。如果需要使通过 Tableau Desktop 发布的数据在 Web 上保持最新，您可以使用 Tableau Bridge。若要详细了解这些要求，请参见[使数据保持最新](https://help.tableau.com/current/online/zh-cn/to_keep_data_fresh.htm)和[使用 Bridge 使数据保持最新](https://help.tableau.com/current/pro/desktop/zh-cn/qs_refresh_local_data.htm)。

## 浏览“数据源”页面

数据源页面有四个部分： 

### A：左侧窗格

显示有关数据连接的详细信息。例如，对于基于 Excel 的数据，左侧窗格显示 Excel 工作簿名称，以及该工作簿中包含的工作表。对于数据库，左侧窗格显示服务器、数据库或架构以及数据库中的表。

### B：画布

连接到多数关系数据和基于文件的数据时，您可以将一个或多个表拖到画布区域来联接要分析的表。

在画布中，您还可以连接同一数据源或多个数据源中的表。

### C：数据网格

您可以使用数据网格来查看或重命名字段、创建计算、预览更改以及执行更多操作。

### D：元数据网格

选择元数据网格按钮，以行的形式查看数据源中的字段。此视图对于理解数据源的结构很有帮助。

## 设置数据源

连接到您的数据之后，使用“数据源”页面来设置数据源并准备要分析的数据。有多个您可以在开始分析之前进行的可选配置。您在“数据源”页面上进行的配置会创建数据源，Tableau 使用该数据源解释您的数据并与其进行交互。

### 编辑数据网格中的字段并对其排序

您可以对数据网格中的字段进行更改。您可以重命名字段、将字段分组、创建别名、创建计算字段、更改数据类型以及转换为度量。
