# Tableau Prep Conductor

Tableau Prep Conductor 使您能够利用 Tableau Cloud 中的计划和跟踪功能自动运行您的流程以更新流程输出。Tableau Prep Conductor 是 Data Management 的一部分，并且必须启用才能安排流程运行。

**注意**：仅当您打算按计划运行流程或设置电子邮件通知时才需要 Data Management。您不需要发布流程并在 Web 上手动运行它们的 Data Management 许可证。作为 Creator，您还可以直接在服务器上创建和编辑流程。有关在 Web 上制作流程的详细信息，请参见 [Web 上的 Tableau Prep](https://help.tableau.com/current/online/zh-cn/prep_web_auth.htm)。

在 Tableau Prep Builder 中创建的流程必须发布到 Tableau Cloud，然后才能安排这些流程运行。发布流程类似于发布数据源和工作簿。您可以将文件与流程打包在一起，或指定与数据源的直接连接以在数据更改时更新流程输入。如果您的流程连接到数据库，请指定身份验证类型并设置凭据以访问数据。

您也可以发布流程以与他人共享，或继续在 Web 上对其进行编辑。例如，将不完整的流程发布到 Tableau Cloud，然后在“编辑”模式下在 Web 上打开流程以继续处理它。您还可以创建仅包含输入步骤（已正确配置）的流程，并与同事共享，然后他们可以将流程下载到他们的计算机并创建和发布自己的流程。
