# Tableau Desktop 和 Tableau Prep Builder 部署

管理员将为获得 Creator 许可的用户分发和安装 [Tableau Desktop 和 Tableau Prep Builder](https://help.tableau.com/current/desktopdeploy/zh-cn/desktop_deploy_automate.htm)。如果选择创建打包的安装文件，您可以自定义安装，在不提示最终用户的情况下完成安装过程。在 Windows 或 Mac 计算机上安装 Tableau Desktop 或 Tableau Prep Builder 时，将安装默认数据库连接驱动程序。如需默认驱动程序的完整列表，请参阅[安装之前](https://help.tableau.com/current/desktopdeploy/zh-cn/desktop_deploy_intro.htm)。如果您不希望安装部分或所有驱动程序，可以在 Tableau Desktop 安装程序的“自定义”窗格中自定义列表。如果需要默认驱动程序以外的[其他驱动程序](http://tableau.com/zh-cn/support/drivers)，则需要在每台计算机上分别进行安装。

虚拟桌面支持让您能够针对非持久性虚拟桌面或定期重新创建映像的计算机优化 Tableau 的安装。启用虚拟桌面支持后，如果 Tableau Desktop 或 Tableau Prep Builder 无法连接到确认许可证有效性的 Tableau 托管服务，则会在预定时间后自动停用 Tableau 许可证产品密钥或基于登录的许可证管理。这意味着在使用 Tableau 许可证产品密钥或基于登录的许可证管理时，您无需执行刷新或停用。对于使用 Tableau 许可证产品密钥的桌面，要求是定期连接到 Internet。基于登录的许可证管理虚拟桌面的要求是与 Tableau Server 通信。详细信息，请参见[配置虚拟桌面支持](https://help.tableau.com/current/desktopdeploy/zh-cn/desktop_deploy_license_deactivate.htm)。

最佳做法建议：

强烈建议使用基于登录的许可证管理来减少最大激活错误数，改善虚拟桌面体验，并消除管理产品密钥的需要。  

使用基于登录的许可证管理时，可以在 Tableau Server 上使用默认管理视图查看 Desktop 使用情况。如果使用产品密钥，可以按照[配置 Desktop 许可证报告](https://help.tableau.com/current/desktopdeploy/zh-cn/desktop_deploy_reporting_admin.htm)中的说明设置和配置 Desktop 许可证报告，并按照“许可证跟踪”部分介绍的方法继续进行 Server 配置。
