# Tableau Prep Conductor

Tableau Prep Conductor 프로세스는 Data Catalog에서 수집할 흐름 및 프로세스 흐름을 실행합니다. Tableau Prep Conductor에서는 다음과 같은 구성 요소를 사용하여 흐름을 실행합니다.

- **백그라운더:** Tableau Prep Conductor는 백그라운더 프로세스를 사용하여 흐름을 실행합니다. 백그라운더는 단일 스레드로 처리되므로 한 노드에서 백그라운더 프로세스의 각 인스턴스는 한 번에 한 흐름만 실행할 수 있습니다. 노드에 더 많은 백그라운더를 추가하면 노드에서 병렬로 실행될 수 있는 흐름 수를 늘릴 수 있습니다. 백그라운더 프로세스의 최대 수는 해당 노드의 물리적 코어 수의 절반입니다.

## 성능 및 확장 권장 사항

- **흐름을 별도의 노드에 격리:** 별도의 노드에서 Tableau Prep Conductor를 실행하면 흐름 작업 흐름이 다른 Tableau 워크로드에서 격리됩니다. Prep 흐름은 CPU 및 RAM을 집중적으로 사용하기 때문에 이렇게 하는 것을 적극 권장합니다.
- **흐름 일정 관리:** 흐름 일정을 만들어 흐름 실행을 제어할 수 있습니다. 이러한 일정을 사용하여 흐름이 실행되는 시기, 실행되는 빈도, 일정의 우선 순위 및 일정의 항목을 순차적으로 또는 병렬로 실행할지 여부를 결정할 수 있습니다.
- **리소스 추가:** Tableau Prep Conductor 환경을 확장할 때 최대 4개의 백그라운더를 실행하는 노드당 최대 8개의 물리적 코어 박스를 확장하는 것이 좋습니다. 더 많은 리소스가 필요하므로 서버 환경에 더 많은 노드를 추가하는 것이 좋습니다.

## 토폴로지 및 구성
