# 서버 프로세스 제한

Tableau Server의 프로세스를 다시 구성하는 경우 프로세스 인스턴스의 수를 늘릴 수 있는 양에 제한이 있습니다. 기본적으로 이 제한은 8로 설정되어 있습니다. 컴퓨터의 RAM 및 CPU 코어가 충분하여 이 상한값을 초과하려는 경우 `service.max_procs` 구성 옵션을 사용하여 상한값을 변경할 수 있습니다. 각 프로세스 인스턴스에 대해 Tableau는 프로세스를 실행하는 컴퓨터에 최소한 1GB RAM 및 1개의 논리적 CPU 코어를 설정할 것을 권장합니다.

허용되는 최대 프로세스 개수를 변경하려면 다음을 수행합니다.

1. 다음 명령을 입력합니다. 여기서 `number`는 허용하려는 최대 프로세스 인스턴스 수입니다.
    
    `tsm configuration set -k service.max_procs -v <number>`
    
    예:
    
    `tsm configuration set -k service.max_procs -v 10`
2. 다음을 입력합니다.
    
    `tsm pending-changes apply`
    
    보류 중인 변경 내용을 적용하려면 서버를 다시 시작해야 하는 경우 `pending-changes apply` 명령은 서버가 다시 시작됨을 알리는 메시지를 표시합니다. 서버가 중지된 경우에도 이 메시지가 표시되지만 이 경우 다시 시작은 없습니다. `--ignore-prompt` 옵션을 사용하여 이 메시지를 표시하지 않을 수 있지만 다시 시작 동작은 변경되지 않습니다. 변경 내용을 적용해도 다시 시작할 필요가 없는 경우 메시지 없이 변경 내용이 적용됩니다. 자세한 내용은 [tsm pending-changes apply](https://help.tableau.com/current/server/ko-kr/cli_pending-changes.htm#pending-changes-apply)를 참조하십시오.
