# Google Compute Engine 仮想マシンの種別とサイズを選択する

## 概要

Google Cloud Platform では多くの種別の Google Compute Engine (GCE) 仮想マシン (VM) がさまざまなサイズで提供されています。ワークロードに対して適切な VM を選択することは、Tableau Server の展開を成功させる重要な要素です。幅広い VM から選択できます。すべての利用可能な VM の種別とサイズを網羅したリストについては、Google Web サイトの[「マシンタイプ」](https://cloud.google.com/compute/docs/machine-types)を参照してください。

Tableau Server を実行可能な VM を選択することが重要です。VM は Tableau Server のハードウェア ガイドラインを満たしている必要があります (最低 8 コア、128GB の RAM)。

最低でも、64 ビットの Tableau Server には 4 コア CPU (8 Google Compute Engine vCPU 相当) および 64 GB の RAM が必要です。ただし、本番環境用の単一の Google Compute Engine VM には合計 8 CPU コア (16 Google Compute Engine vCPU) と 128GB の RAM が強く推奨されています。

Windows OS はこれら 16 vCPU を 8 コアとして認識するため、ライセンス発行に関するマイナスの影響はありません。
