# キューブ データ ソース

キューブ (多次元) データ ソースには独特な特性があるため、Tableauでユニークなものとなっています。

キューブ データ ソースはパススルー接続をサポートしていません。つまり、キューブ データ ソースがパブリッシュされる場合、そのデータ ソースを使用して Tableau Server からの接続を作成することはできません。また、Tableau Server でデータ ソースを使用してワークブックを作成することもできません。

キューブ データ ソースを Tableau Server にパブリッシュすると、サーバーにデータ ソースを保存することができます。ただし、データ ソースを使用するには、データ ソースを Tableau Desktop にダウンロードし、それをローカルで使用する必要があります。パブリッシュされたデータ ソースをダウンロードするには、次が必要です。

- データ ソースに対する \[ダウンロード/名前を付けて保存\] パーミッション。詳細については、[パーミッション](https://help.tableau.com/current/server/ja-jp/permissions.htm#permissioncapabilities)を参照してください。
- Tableau Desktop を実行しているコンピューターで正しいドライバーがインストールされ、ポートが開かれていること。
