# 接続されているクライアントからサイトにアクセス

既定では、Tableau Server でユーザーは Tableau _クライアント_からサイトに直接アクセスできます。ユーザーが初めてクライアントからサインインするときに認証資格情報を入力すると、アクセスが許可されます。この場合のクライアントは、Tableau Server と情報を交換できる Tableau アプリケーションまたはサービスです。Tableau クライアントの例として、Tableau Desktop、Tableau Prep Builder、および Tableau Mobile があります。

Tableau Server は、ユーザーがクライアントからサインインした際にユーザーを一意的に識別するセキュアな更新トークンを作成し、_接続済みのクライアント_を確立します。
