# 予測モデリング

Tableau の予測モデリング関数は、線形回帰を使用して予測モデルを構築し、データに関する予測を生成します。2 つの[テーブル計算](https://help.tableau.com/current/pro/desktop/ja-jp/calculations_tablecalculations.htm) MODEL\_PERCENTILE および MODEL\_QUANTILE を使用すると、予測を生成したり、データ内の関係を明らかにしたりすることができます。これらは、外れ値の識別、スパース データまたは欠損データの値の推定、および将来の期間の値の予測に使用できます。
