# API Tableau Hyper

Vous pouvez utiliser l’API Tableau Hyper pour créer des fichiers d’extrait `.hyper` (pris en charge dans Tableau 10.5 et versions ultérieures). En utilisant l’API Hyper, vous pouvez créer des applications capables d’insérer, de lire, de mettre à jour et de supprimer des données de ces fichiers.

L’API Hyper vous offre toutefois davantage d’options pour travailler avec les fichiers d’extraits et fournit de meilleures performances.

L’API Hyper fonctionne sous Windows, Linux et macOS et prend en charge plusieurs langages de programmation, dont C++, Java et Python, et.NET (C#).
