# Build Advanced Chart Types

The topics in this section illustrate how to create views that include industry-standard analytical benchmarks and visualisation types.

**Note**: Most of these examples can only be built in Tableau Desktop – not as you edit views on the web. Before attempting to follow the steps in one of these topics, check the Applies To line at the top of the topic to determine whether the procedure is valid for editing on the web. If Tableau Server and Tableau Cloud are not listed, the procedure will not work on the web.
