# MuleSoft Government Cloud Release Notes

These release notes describe updates to MuleSoft Government Cloud as from January 10, 2024.

## [](#june-19-2026)June 19, 2026

### What’s New

- MuleSoft Government Cloud now supports FIPS 140-3 compliance for Mule runtime engine 4.9.

FIPS 140-3 replaces FIPS 140-2 as the supported cryptographic standard in Government Cloud. This update introduces support for Bouncy Castle 2.0.0 as the certified security provider, requires Java 17 or later, and mandates BCFKS keystore format and TLS 1.2 or TLS 1.3.

For migration steps and configuration details, see [FIPS 140-3 Compliance Support](#gov-cloud::gov-cloud-fips-140-3-support.adoc).
