# オンプレミスでの Mule Runtime Engine の実行

アプリケーションをオンプレミスでデプロイする場合は、Mule インスタンスを完全に制御できるため、​[オンプレミスデプロイメントモデル](https://docs.mulesoft.com/jp/mule-runtime/4.8/mule-deployment-model)​の特定の特性を活用できます。

自分の環境で Mule Runtime Engine をホストする場合は、最初に​[ハードウェアおよびソフトウェアのすべての要件を満たしていることを確認し](https://docs.mulesoft.com/jp/mule-runtime/4.8/hardware-and-software-requirements)​、​[Mule をダウンロードしてインストールしてください](https://docs.mulesoft.com/jp/mule-runtime/4.8/runtime-installation-task)​。

以下のシナリオでは、Mule をインストールする必要はありません。

- 開発およびテストに Anypoint Studio (Mule が含まれる) を使用する場合
- CloudHub または Anypoint Runtime Fabric にアプリケーションをデプロイする場合。

Mule のインストールが完了したら、​[Enterprise ライセンスをインストール](https://docs.mulesoft.com/jp/mule-runtime/4.8/installing-an-enterprise-license)​して Mule Runtime Engine のすべての機能を有効化します。
