アクセス管理を使用すると、​[Anypoint Platform アカウントを作成](https://docs.mulesoft.com/jp/access-management/managing-your-account#how-to-create-your-account)​して、ユーザープロファイルを設定できます。

組織の所有者とシステム管理者は、アクセス管理を使用して次の操作を実行できます。

- [ビジネスグループ](https://docs.mulesoft.com/jp/access-management/business-groups)​を作成してアプリケーションや API などの Anypoint Platform リソースを含める。

アクセス管理により、ユーザーおよびクライアントの管理、組織およびビジネスグループ、ロールおよび権限に関連したリソースにプログラムでアクセスするための REST API も提供されます。 この API を使用するには、 [アクセス管理 API Portal](https://anypoint.mulesoft.com/apiplatform/anypoint-platform/#/portals/organizations/68ef9520-24e9-4cf2-b2f5-620025690913/apis/11270/versions/11646/pages/11244)​ を使用します。

[コントロールプレーン](https://docs.mulesoft.com/hosting-home/)​によっては、一部のアクセス管理機能を組織で使用できない場合があります。たとえば、プラットフォームからのアカウント作成およびユーザー招待は、Anypoint Platform Private Cloud Edition では使用できません。Mulesoft Government Cloud の場合、一部の機能も使用できません。
