# Break Loop

> For the full documentation index, see: https://docs.mulesoft.com/llms.txt

There are cases where you need to exit the _Loop Control Block_ before all iterations have been
executed. _Break Loop_ should be used for this purpose.

Using _Break Loop_ only makes sense in combination with a _Managed Control Block_, because otherwise
it would be executed during the first iteration of a _Loop Control Block_, thus defeating the object
of having a loop.

## Properties

- **Exit Mode** Determines how the loop reacts _after_ using a _Break Loop_, i.e. with or without
  error
