# System Validation

_System Validation_ compares various parameters (see Section **Checking System Parameters**) between
the system the _Workflow_ was created on and the system where it is executed. It does not have any
additional properties on the _Properties grid_.

## Properties

_Action Step_ _System Validation_ has no further properties_._

## Variables

_Action Step_ _System Validation_ possesses no variables.

## Wizard

The wizard shows a list of all system parameters that are available to be checked; these can all be
selected separately. The _Compare Value_ column shows the current value that will be checked
against. Click _Reset_ to set the value to the system’s current value. Finally, you can choose what
happens when two values differs. You can either select to display an _Info_, _Warning,_ or _Error_
message, or set an actual _Error State_ that causes the _Workflow_ to fail and throw a warning or
error. For example, you could prevent a system with a different desktop resolution from executing
the _Workflow_.
