# MUnit 3.7.2 Release Notes (Deprecated)

MUnit is a Mule application testing framework that enables you to build automated tests for your
integrations and APIs.

## What’s New

- Distinct MUnit and MUnit Maven Plugin Properties

  The `munit.runtimeversion` property replaces the now-deprecated `runtimeVersion` property. The
  `runtimeVersion` property remains supported, and if you use it, MUnit displays a warning message
  indicating that it’s deprecated and that you must migrate to `munit.runtimeversion`. For more
  information, see the [MUnit Maven Plugin](https://docs.mulesoft.com/munit/latest/munit-maven-plugin).

- MUnit 3.7.2 updates some dependencies to address reported security vulnerabilities.
