# Credential Injection OAuth 2.0

The Credential Injection OAuth 2.0 policy injects an OAuth 2.0 authorization header into outgoing
requests.

### What’s New

- The policy now supports adding custom parameters, such as `audience`, to the OAuth 2.0 token
  request body. Each parameter has a `name` and a `value`, where the `value` can be a static string
  or a DataWeave expression.

- Credential Injection OAuth 2.0 policy implementation version 1.2.1 is now supported by Omni
  Gateway.

- Credential Injection OAuth 2.0 policy definition version 1.2.1 is now supported by Omni Gateway.
