Anypoint Connector for Neo4j (Neo4j Connector) provides the capability to execute Cypher Query
Language (CQL) statements and run basic operations, such as create, update, delete, and select nodes
in a Neo4j Graph database instance.

**September 14, 2025**

### What’s New

- The connector is now fully compatible with modern Neo4j versions (4.4 and later) and the latest
  Mule runtime engines (4.9.0 and later), leveraging the updated Neo4j Java driver.

- The connector simplifies configuration to only require a BOLT URL, as all metadata operations use
  native Cypher queries through a BOLT connection. The `REST URL` parameter is now removed.

- The connector offers improved metadata resolution for a smoother experience in Anypoint Studio,
  providing access to new features such as reactive APIs, multi-database support, and enhanced
  security.

- The connector no longer supports Neo4j 3.x servers, Mule runtime versions earlier than 4.9.0, or
  JDK versions earlier than 17.
