Anypoint Connector for Google Pub/Sub (Google Pub/Sub Connector) enables you to access the Google
Pub/Sub messaging platform. This connector exposes operations provided by the Google Pub/Sub client
libraries.

### What’s New

- This release includes general security fixes.

- The
  [**MuleSoft IdP Configuration**](https://docs.mulesoft.com/google-pubsub-connector/latest/google-pubsub-connector-reference#WifMuleSoftIdpConfig)
  type now includes the optional **Token Endpoint** field. Set **Token Endpoint** so a Workload
  Identity Federation connection requests tokens from the control plane where the app runs. If you
  leave **Token Endpoint** blank, the connector uses
  `https://anypoint.mulesoft.com/accounts/api/v2/oauth2/token`. For EU1, set
  `https://eu1.anypoint.mulesoft.com/accounts/api/v2/oauth2/token`. If the value is not an HTTPS URL
  with a host, token exchange fails with `Token Endpoint must be an https URL`.

### What’s New

- The connector now includes the new **Override Host** and **Override Port** fields to direct all
  API calls to the specified host and port instead of the default public endpoint. This allows you
  to configure custom host and port settings to route traffic through private endpoints, enabling
  compliance with security policies that require avoiding public internet connections.

- The connector now includes the new **Acknowledge Message** and **NACK Message** operations to
  acknowledge or negatively acknowledge messages. The **On message listener** source now includes
  the new **Acknowledgment Mode** field, providing full control over the message processing
  lifecycle. This prevents infinite processing loops when downstream systems fail and provides
  better error recovery mechanisms.

- The connector now includes the new **Authentication Method** and **MuleSoft IdP Configuration**
  fields to add Workload Identity Federation (WIF) support, enabling federated authentication
  through MuleSoft as an identity provider.
