Previously, when using sockets:send-and-receive over a pooled TCP/TLS requester with the XML message protocol, the operation returned a null payload if the remote server half-closed the connection (via TCP FIN or TLS close_notify). The connector now actively detects these remotely closed connections and triggers a connectivity error, allowing your configured reconnection strategy to automatically reestablish the connection.
