# APIkit for SOAP 2.0.0 Release Notes

## What’s New

- Develop SOAP-based APIs with support for Java 17 and Mule runtime 4.9.11 and later. This version
  includes the latest security fixes, resolves compatibility issues found in previous patches, and
  serves as the foundation for future updates in this major version line.
