# Activating a Composer Flow

> For the full documentation index, see: https://docs.mulesoft.com/llms.txt

After you [build](https://docs.mulesoft.com/composer/ms_composer_using_a_flow_and_creating_trigger#create-a-new-flow) and
[test](https://docs.mulesoft.com/composer/ms_composer_test_flow) a flow in a sandbox environment,
[connect](https://docs.mulesoft.com/composer/ms_composer_connecting_a_flow) your flow to a production environment. After testing your
flow in the production environment, you can activate it.

To activate your flow:

1. In Composer, find the flow you want to activate in the flows list. Your flow status is listed as
    **Inactive**.

2. Click the flow name to open it.

3. Click **Edit**.

4. Click **Activate**.

Composer notifies you when the flow is activated.
