# APIkit for GraphQL

APIkit for GraphQL implements GraphQL services in Mule applications and integrates with Anypoint
Code Builder so you connect schemas to backends through connectors. The APIkit scaffolder generates
the application skeleton from your GraphQL schema at design time and maps queries, mutations, and
types to flows. At run time, the GraphQL router walks the query graph, runs the mapped flows, and
assembles a response that matches the requested query shape.
