# Conversation

Represents a conversation between an end user and an agent. Available in API version 49.0 and later.

#### Note

This object is available for Einstein Conversation Insights customers whose data is stored natively on the Salesforce Platform. If you turned on Einstein Conversation Insights for the first time starting in Spring ’26, this object is available to query and access using Salesforce tools. For existing ECI customers, data migration and access to related Salesforce Platform objects is scheduled to begin in Summer ’26.

Description

The record ID of the channel used to initialize the conversation. This can either be a messaging channel for the Messaging product or a call center for the Service Cloud Voice product. Available in API version 50.0 and later.

Service Cloud Voice is now Salesforce Voice. You may see references to Service Cloud Voice in Salesforce applications and documentation.

The internal name of the conversation. The value can be the Salesforce record ID of the conversation or an auto-incremented number string. If your integration sorts records by Name, use CreatedDate instead.
