# DistributionChannel

Represents a list of distribution channels, for example direct sales, wholesale, retail, and online, used to specify the fulfillment method for an order or sale. This object is available in API version 68.0 and later.

## Fields

### ChannelSubtype

- **Type**: picklist
- **Properties**: Create, Filter, Group, Nillable, Sort, Update
- **Description**: Specifies the subtype of the distribution channel determined by whether the distribution is direct or indirect.

### ChannelType

- **Type**: picklist
- **Properties**: Create, Filter, Group, Restricted picklist, Sort, Update
- **Description**: Specifies the type of the distribution channel.
- **Possible values**:
    - Direct
    - Indirect

### Description

- **Type**: textarea
- **Properties**: Create, Nillable, Update
- **Description**: A detailed description of the sales distribution channel.

### LastReferencedDate

- **Type**: dateTime
- **Properties**: Filter, Nillable, Sort
- **Description**: The timestamp for when the current user last viewed a record related to this record.

### LastViewedDate

- **Type**: dateTime
- **Properties**: Filter, Nillable, Sort
- **Description**: The timestamp for when the current user last viewed this record. If this value is null, it's possible that this record was referenced (LastReferencedDate) and not viewed.

### Name

- **Type**: string
- **Properties**: Create, Filter, Group, idLookup, Sort, Update
- **Description**: Name of the sales distribution channel.

### OwnerId

- **Type**: reference
- **Properties**: Create, Defaulted on create, Filter, Group, Sort, Update
- **Description**: The ID of the user who owns this record.
- **Relationship Name**: Owner
- **Refers To**: Group, User
