DigitalSignature

Life Sciences Cloud fields extend the standard DigitalSignature object to represent a signature. This object is available in API version 65.0 and later.

Fields

DeviceOs

  • Type: string
  • Properties: Create, Filter, Group, Nillable, Sort
  • Description: The operating system of the device used to capture the digital signature.

DeviceType

  • Type: string
  • Properties: Create, Filter, Group, Nillable, Sort
  • Description: The type of device used to capture the digital signature.

DigitalSignatureRequestId

  • Type: reference
  • Properties: Create, Filter, Group, Nillable, Sort
  • Description: The request for which the signature was captured.

    This field is a relationship field.

  • Relationship Name: DigitalSignatureRequest
  • Refers To: DigitalSignatureRequest

Geolocation

  • Type: location
  • Properties: Nillable
  • Description: Captures the GPS location at the time the signature was captured, providing a record of where the signing occurred.

GeolocationMissingReason

  • Type: picklist
  • Properties: Create, Filter, Group, Nillable, Restricted picklist, Sort
  • Description: Identifies the reason why GPS data was not collected when the signature was captured.
  • Possible values:
    • BadData
    • DeviceRestricted
    • Offline
    • UserRestricted

GeolocationTimestamp

  • Type: dateTime
  • Properties: Create, Filter, Nillable, Sort
  • Description: Captures the exact time when GPS data was collected, especially in mobile offline cases where the GPS collection time differs from the signature capture time.

IsSignatureCopyRequested

  • Type: boolean
  • Properties: Create, Defaulted on create, Filter, Group, Sort
  • Description: Indicates whether the user has requested a copy of the signed document.

ParentId

  • Type: reference
  • Properties: Create, Filter, Group, Sort
  • Description: Reference to a related record, such as a visit or inquiry.

    This field is a polymorphic relationship field.

  • Relationship Name: Parent
  • Relationship Type: Master-detail
  • Refers To: CommSubConsentCmplSnpsht, Inquiry, Visit

WebBrowser

  • Type: string
  • Properties: Create, Filter, Group, Nillable, Sort
  • Description: The web browser used to capture the digital signature.
