## Properties

The API resolves each lookup in this order: attribute ID, then attribute code, and then developer name. If none of these properties is set, the corresponding result is invalid and instructions includes error code SF-INS-DSAV-00032.

| Name | Type | Description | Required or Optional | Available Version |
| --- | --- | --- | --- | --- |
| attributeCode | String | Code of the attribute definition, such as Make or Deductible. The API uses this value when attributeId doesn’t resolve to an AttributeDefinition record. | Required if attributeId and attributeName aren’t specified | 68.0 |
| attributeId | String | ID of the attribute definition record. This identifier takes precedence over attributeCode and attributeName. | Required if attributeCode and attributeName aren’t specified | 68.0 |
| attributeName | String | Developer name of the attribute definition. The API uses this value when neither attributeId nor attributeCode resolves to an AttributeDefinition record. Matching is case-insensitive. For a dynamic context attribute, when you also specify contextDefinitionId, send the attribute’s dictionary name as configured in Setup. | Required if attributeId and attributeCode aren’t specified | 68.0 |
