Represents a period of time during which two or more people were in close proximity to each other.

### Actual\_Participant\_Count\_\_c

- **Type**: double
- **Properties**: Filter, Nillable, Sort
- **Description**: The confirmed number of people who were present during the encounter.

### Description\_\_c

- **Type**: textarea
- **Properties**: Create, Nillable, Update
- **Description**: Text describing the encounter.

### DiseaseInvestigationId

- **Type**: reference
- **Properties**: Create, Filter, Group, Nillable, Sort, Update
- **Description**: The disease investigation associated with the contact encounter.
    
    This field is a relationship field.
- **Relationship Name**: DiseaseInvestigation
- **Refers To**: DiseaseInvestigation

### EndTime\_\_c

- **Type**: dateTime
- **Properties**: Create, Filter, Nillable, Sort, Update
- **Description**: The date and time when the encounter ended.

### EstimatedParticipantCount\_\_c

- **Description**: The estimated number of people who were present during the encounter.

- **Description**: Specifies the source of the exposure.

    - Animal Contact
    - Environment - Air
    - Environment - Chemical

- **Description**: The description of the exposure source.

### ExposureType

- **Description**: Specifies the type of disease exposure the patient encountered.
- **Possible values**:
    - Direct Contact
    - Ingestion
    - Inhalation

### Location\_\_c

- **Description**: The location where the encounter took place.

### StartTime\_\_c

- **Type**: dateTime
- **Properties**: Create, Filter, Sort, Update
- **Description**: The date and time when the encounter began.

### LastActivityDate

- **Type**: date
- **Properties**: Filter, Group, Nillable, Sort
- **Description**: Value is one of the following, whichever is the most recent:
    - Due date of the most recent event logged against the object.
    - Due date of the most recently closed task associated with the object.

### LastReferencedDate

- **Type**: dateTime
- **Properties**: Filter, Nillable, Sort
- **Description**: The timestamp for when a user most recently viewed a record related to this record.

### LastViewedDate

- **Type**: dateTime
- **Properties**: Filter, Nillable, Sort
- **Description**: The timestamp for when a user most recently viewed this record. If this value is null, this record might only have been referenced (LastReferencedDate) and not viewed.

### Name

- **Type**: string
- **Properties**: Create, Defaulted on create, Filter, Group, idLookup, Nillable, Sort, Update
- **Description**: The name of this contact encounter.

### OwnerId

- **Type**: reference
- **Properties**: Create, Defaulted on create, Filter, Group, Sort, Update
- **Description**: The ID of the user who owns this record.
