# Producer

Represents an agent or an agency selling insurance.

## Fields

### AccountId

- **Type**: reference
- **Properties**: Create, Filter, Group, Nillable, Sort, Update
- **Description**: The ID of the agency’s business account.

### ContactId

- **Type**: reference
- **Properties**: Create, Filter, Group, Nillable, Sort, Update
- **Description**: The ID of the contact associated with the producer if the producer is an external agent.

### InternalUserId

- **Type**: reference
- **Properties**: Create, Filter, Group, Nillable, Sort, Update
- **Description**: If the producer is an internal employee, this field contains the employee's user ID.

### LastReferencedDate

- **Type**: dateTime
- **Properties**: Filter, Nillable, Sort
- **Description**: The timestamp for when the current user last viewed a record related to this record.

### LastViewedDate

- **Type**: dateTime
- **Properties**: Filter, Nillable, Sort
- **Description**: The timestamp for when the current user last viewed this record. If this value is null, it’s possible that this record was referenced (LastReferencedDate) and not viewed.

### Name

- **Type**: string
- **Properties**: Create, Filter, Group, Sort, Update
- **Description**: A unique identifier for the agent or the agency.

### OwnerId

- **Type**: reference
- **Properties**: Create, Defaulted on create, Filter, Group, Sort, Update
- **Description**: ID of the record owner.

### Type

- **Type**: picklist
- **Properties**: Create, Filter, Group, Nillable, Sort, Update
- **Description**: Indicates whether the producer is an agent or an agency. If the producer reference has agency information, this field value is Agent. Otherwise, it can be an independent agent or agency.

## Associated Objects
