Stores information related to billing and supports billing workflows and integration with downstream financial systems. This object is available in API version 66.0 and later.

## Fields

### BillDayOfMonth

- **Type**: int
- **Properties**: Create, Filter, Group, Sort, Update
- **Description**: The day of the month when invoice generation starts for installment billing if a customer chooses to pay in installments (1-31).

### BillStartMonth

- **Type**: picklist
- **Properties**: Create, Filter, Group, Nillable, Restricted picklist, Sort, Update
- **Description**: The month when billing begins for recurring billing schedules (1–12, where 1 = January).
- **Possible values**:
    - 1—January
    - 10—October
    - 11—November
    - 12—December
    - 2—February
    - 3—March
    - 4—April
    - 5—May
    - 6—June
    - 7—July
    - 8—August
    - 9—September

### BillToContactId

- **Type**: reference
- **Properties**: Create, Filter, Group, Sort, Update
- **Description**: The contact related to the insurance policy bill.
    
    This field is a relationship field.
- **Relationship Name**: BillToContact
- **Refers To**: Contact

### BillingTreatmentId

- **Type**: reference
- **Properties**: Create, Filter, Group, Nillable, Sort, Update
- **Description**: The rules that determine how an insurance policy is billed. For example, advance or arrears.
    
    This field is a relationship field.
- **Relationship Name**: BillingTreatment
- **Refers To**: BillingTreatment

### InsurancePolicyId

- **Type**: reference
- **Properties**: Create, Filter, Group, Sort
- **Description**: The insurance policy associated with the insurance policy billing item.
    
    This field is a relationship field.
- **Relationship Name**: InsurancePolicy
- **Relationship Type**: Master-detail
- **Refers To**: InsurancePolicy (the master object)

### LastReferencedDate

- **Type**: dateTime
- **Properties**: Filter, Nillable, Sort
- **Description**: The timestamp when the current user last accessed this record indirectly, for example, through a list view or related record.

### LastViewedDate

- **Type**: dateTime
- **Properties**: Filter, Nillable, Sort
- **Description**: The timestamp when the current user last viewed this record or list view. If this value is null, and LastReferenceDate is not null, the user accessed this record or list view indirectly.

### LegalEntityId

- **Type**: reference
- **Properties**: Create, Filter, Group, Nillable, Sort, Update
- **Description**: The legal entity associated with the insurance policy billing information.
    
    This field is a relationship field.
- **Relationship Name**: LegalEntity
- **Refers To**: LegalEntity

### Name

- **Type**: string
- **Properties**: Autonumber, Defaulted on create, Filter, idLookup, Sort
- **Description**: Name of Billing Item.

### PaymentTermId

- **Description**: Specifies the timing and conditions for payments and bill settlements for an insurance policy.
