# Dispute

Represents the details of a dispute that involves one or multiple disputed transactions. This object is available in API version 59.0 and later.

These fields are available if the add-on license for Financial Services Cloud is enabled.

## Fields

### AccountId

- **Type**: reference
- **Properties**: Create, Filter, Group, Nillable, Sort, Update
- **Description**: The Person Account associated with the dispute.
    
    This field is a relationship field.
- **Relationship Name**: Account
- **Relationship Type**: Lookup
- **Refers To**: Account

### ActualAmount

- **Type**: currency
- **Properties**: Create, Filter, Nillable, Sort, Update
- **Description**: The total amount of all associated transactions.

### ApprovedAmount

- **Type**: currency
- **Properties**: Create, Filter, Nillable, Sort, Update
- **Description**: The amount that's approved to be credited to the customer.

### AssessmentId

- **Type**: reference
- **Properties**: Create, Filter, Group, Nillable, Sort, Update
- **Description**: The Assessment associated with the dispute.
    
    This field is a relationship field.
- **Relationship Name**: Assessment
- **Relationship Type**: Lookup
- **Refers To**: Assessment

### CaseId

- **Type**: reference
- **Properties**: Create, Filter, Group, Nillable, Sort, Update
- **Description**: The Case associated with the dispute. This is the related case to track the lifecycle of the dispute.
    
    This field is a relationship field.

- **Relationship Type**: Lookup
- **Refers To**: Case

### Description

- **Type**: textarea
- **Properties**: Create, Nillable, Update
- **Description**: The description of the dispute.

### DisputeSubtype

- **Type**: picklist
- **Properties**: Create, Filter, Group, Nillable, Restricted picklist, Sort, Update
- **Description**: Specifies the subtype of dispute.
- **Possible values**:
    - Account Debited but No Cash Dispensed by ATM
    - Charged Multiple Times
    - Defective Product
    - Disclosed OTP, Card, or Account Details
    - Failed Transaction
    - Fraudulent Transaction
    - Lost or Stolen Card
    - Outstanding Charge on Original Payment Method
    - Overcharged
    - Products or Services Not as Described
    - Refund Not Processed
    - Undelivered Product or Service

### DisputeType

- **Type**: picklist
- **Properties**: Create, Filter, Group, Nillable, Restricted picklist, Sort, Update
- **Description**: Specifies the type of dispute.
- **Possible values**:
    - Processing Error
    - Consumer Dispute
    - Fraud

### DisputedAmount

- **Type**: currency
- **Properties**: Create, Filter, Nillable, Sort, Update
- **Description**: The total amount claimed in the dispute.

### IsCardCancellationRequested

- **Type**: boolean
- **Properties**: Create, Defaulted on create, Filter, Group, Sort, Update
- **Description**: Indicates whether card cancellation was requested (true) or not (false).
- **Default value**: false

### IsCardReissueRequested

- **Type**: boolean
- **Properties**: Create, Defaulted on create, Filter, Group, Sort, Update
- **Description**: Indicates whether card reissue was requested (true) or not (false).
- **Default value**: false

### LastReferencedDate

- **Type**: dateTime
- **Properties**: Filter, Nillable, Sort
- **Description**: The timestamp for when the current user last viewed a record related to this record.

### LastViewedDate

- **Type**: dateTime
- **Properties**: Filter, Nillable, Sort
- **Description**: The timestamp for when the current user last viewed this record. If this value is null, it’s possible that this record was referenced (LastReferencedDate) and not viewed.

### Name

- **Type**: string
- **Properties**: Autonumber, Defaulted on create, Filter, idLookup, Sort
- **Description**: The name of the Dispute record

### OwnerId

- **Type**: reference
- **Properties**: Create, Defaulted on create, Filter, Group, Sort, Update
- **Description**: ID of the user who created the relationship record.
    
    This is a polymorphic relationship field.
- **Relationship Name**: Owner
- **Relationship Type**: Lookup
- **Refers To**: Group, User

### ReceivedDate

- **Type**: date
- **Properties**: Create, Filter, Group, Sort, Update
- **Description**: The date when the dispute was reported to the bank.

### Status

- **Type**: picklist
- **Properties**: Create, Filter, Group, Nillable, Sort, Update
- **Description**: Specifies the status of the disputed transaction.
- **Possible values**:
    - In Review
    - Invalid
    - No longer disputed
    - Resolved
    - Settled
    - Submitted

This object has the following associated objects. If the API version isn’t specified, they’re available in the same API versions as this object. Otherwise, they’re available in the specified API version and later.

History is available for tracked fields of the object.
