# Intelligent Referral Management

Use the API resources available with Intelligent Referral Management to create and manage referral intake forms and configure referral assignment rules to speed up referral submissions.

- **[Referrals (PUT)](https://developer.salesforce.com/docs/atlas.en-us.financial_services_cloud_object_reference.meta/financial_services_cloud_object_reference/connect_resources_referral.htm)**  
    Create a referral record or update an existing referral record. This API submits the referral through the context service, saves the changes, and returns the IDs of the created or updated records in the response.

    Create or update a referral form configuration record along with its steps, sections, fields, welcome screen, and success screen. Get a paginated list of referral form configuration records.

    Retrieve, activate, deactivate, or delete a referral form configuration definition and its related configurations by the definition ID. This API updates only the definition's activation status and doesn't modify its steps, sections, fields, or other configuration settings.
