# Repossession

Represents a repossession case that tracks the recovery of an asset from initial assignment to final disposition. This object is available in API version 68.0 and later.

## Fields

### AccountId

- **Type**: reference
- **Properties**: Create, Filter, Group, Nillable, Sort, Update
- **Description**: The customer account associated with the repossession. This field is a relationship field.
- **Relationship Name**: Account
- **Relationship Type**: Lookup
- **Refers To**: Account

### CollectionPlanId

- **Type**: reference
- **Properties**: Create, Filter, Group, Nillable, Sort, Update
- **Description**: The collection plan record associated with the repossession. This field is a relationship field.
- **Relationship Name**: CollectionPlan
- **Relationship Type**: Lookup
- **Refers To**: CollectionPlan

### EndDate

- **Type**: date
- **Properties**: Create, Filter, Group, Nillable, Sort, Update
- **Description**: The date the repossession case was closed, either through asset recovery, customer redemption, or account write-off.

### FinancialAccountId

- **Properties**: Create, Filter, Group, Nillable, Sort, Update
- **Description**: The specific lending or lease account associated with the repossession. This field is a relationship field.
- **Relationship Name**: FinancialAccount

### Name

- **Type**: string
- **Properties**: Autonumber, Defaulted on create, Filter, idLookup, Sort
- **Description**: A unique system-generated identifier for the repossession record.

### Purpose

- **Type**: picklist
- **Properties**: Create, Filter, Group, Nillable, Sort, Update
- **Description**: The purpose of the initiated repossession process, such as lease expiry, delinquency, or lapsed insurance coverage. Possible values are:

- Delinquency
- Lease Expiry
- Lapsed Insurance Coverage
- Prohibited Use of Vehicle
- Vehicle Abandonment
- Voluntary Surrender

### Stage

- **Type**: picklist
- **Properties**: Create, Filter, Group, Sort, Update
- **Description**: The current stage of the repossession, tracking the lifecycle from initial assignment to final asset disposition. Possible values are: Pre-Repossession, Repossession In Progress, or Repossession Complete.

### StartDate

- **Type**: date
- **Properties**: Create, Filter, Group, Sort, Update
- **Description**: The date the repossession process was officially initiated.
