# Progress Indicators

Set the `AgentConfiguration` parameter in the `UIConfiguration` object to `false` to use an animated ellipses typing indicator instead of a progress indicator. This will only affect progress indicators of service reps, not progress indicators of AI agents and bots.

**important:** This feature requires version 1.9.0 or later of the Enhanced In-App Chat SDK.
