# Hide Transcripts

Use the [`TranscriptConfiguration` parameter in the `UIConfiguration` class](https://salesforce-async-messaging.github.io/messaging-in-app-android/sdk/core/com.salesforce.android.smi.core.data.domain.remoteConfiguration/-transcript-configuration/index.html?query=typealias%20TranscriptConfiguration%20=%20com.salesforce.android.smi.network.internal.dto.response.remoteconfig.TranscriptConfiguration) to hide the transcript button in the participant client menu.

**important:** This feature requires version 1.7.0 or later of the Enhanced In-App Chat SDK.
