# Hide Attachments

Use the [`AttachmentConfiguration` parameter in the `UIConfiguration` class](https://salesforce-async-messaging.github.io/messaging-in-app-android/sdk/core/com.salesforce.android.smi.core.data.domain.remoteConfiguration/-attachment-configuration/index.html) to hide the attachment option from the input options.

**important:** This feature requires version 1.7.0 or later of the Enhanced In-App Chat SDK.
