# Open CTI Demo Adapter

We’ve put together a demo adapter package that lets you test drive Open CTI for Lightning Experience. The package provides a demo softphone that highlights and demonstrates the main features of Open CTI for Lightning Experience without even connecting to a phone system.

**note:** The Open CTI demo adapter is an archived repository. Salesforce do not provide feature support or add new features for the demo adapter, and there will be limited support if you are using the Open CTI demo adapter for your Open CTI implementations. If you clone the Open CTI demo adapter archived repository, you must also download the latest `ant-salesforce.jar` and replace the pre-existing one in the repository to avoid any errors with the latest Salesforce APIs.
