# Create Projects

When you launch Agentforce Vibes IDE, there's an empty Salesforce DX project to help you get started. You can also create projects in the Command Palette. Agentforce Vibes IDE allows you to manage multiple projects in the same environment.

For more information about DX projects, see [Salesforce DX Project Structure and Source Format](https://developer.salesforce.com/docs/atlas.en-us.sfdx_dev.meta/sfdx_dev/sfdx_dev_source_file_format.htm) in the _Salesforce DX Developer Guide_.

## Create a Project

1. Open the Command Palette (⇧⌘P) and enter **SFDX: Create Project**.
2. Press **Enter** to use a standard project template.
3. Add a project name and press **Enter**.
4. Enter `/home/codebuilder/` for the project path and click **OK**.

The new project is now available in the Project Explorer.

## Manage Multiple Projects

1. Open the Command Palette (⇧⌘P) and enter **SFDX: Create Project**.
2. Press **Enter** to use a standard project template.
3. Use `my-project-1` for the project name and press **Enter**.
4. Enter `/home/codebuilder/` for the project path and click **OK**.
5. Create a second `my-project-2` project by repeating the earlier steps.
6. To reopen `my-project-1`, click the hamburger icon (![hamburger icon](https://developer.salesforce.com/media/codebuilder/icon_hamburger.png)) in the Activity Bar and click **File > Open Folder**.
7. Select the `my-project-1` folder.
