# Use Agentforce Vibes with Government Cloud Orgs

Agentforce Vibes is Government Cloud Plus - Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP) High authorized and Government Cloud Plus - Defense DoD Impact Level 5 authorized. Agentforce Vibes automatically routes AI requests from Government Cloud orgs to a dedicated Government Cloud endpoint.

**note:** Only Government Cloud orgs are routed to the dedicated Government Cloud endpoint.

## Prerequisites

Before using Agentforce Vibes with a Government Cloud Production org:

- Install the [Salesforce CLI](https://developer.salesforce.com/docs/atlas.en-us.sfdx_setup.meta/sfdx_setup/sfdx_setup_install_cli.htm).
- Install the [Salesforce Extension Pack](https://marketplace.visualstudio.com/items?itemName=salesforce.salesforcedx-vscode) for VS Code.
- Confirm with your Salesforce admin that your Government Cloud org has [Agentforce Vibes enabled](https://developer.salesforce.com/docs/platform/agentforcevibes/guide/afv-admin-setup.html).

## Authenticate Your Government Cloud Org

1. Run the following command, replacing `<your-mydomain>` with your org's My Domain hostname:

   `sf org login web --instance-url --set-default https://<your-mydomain>.my.salesforce.com`

Or, in VS Code, use the **SFDX: Authorize an Org** command. Select **Custom** (or **Project Default**) for the login URL and enter your Government Cloud login host. Don't use the default **Production** option, which targets `login.salesforce.com` and won't work for Government Cloud orgs.

**tip:** Verify the correct Government Cloud login host with your Salesforce admin.

2. If using VS Code, set the org as your active org. Use the org picker in the VS Code status bar, or run **SFDX: Set a Default Org** from the Command Palette.

3. Use Agentforce Vibes for agentic chat. All AI features automatically route requests to the Government Cloud endpoint, and Large Language models hosted within Government Cloud.

## Models Available in Government Cloud

Anthropic models are not supported in Government Cloud. Supported model is GPT-5.1. Support for additional GPT models is coming soon. Agentforce Vibes extension comes with the Claude Agent SDK binary but it isn’t used in Government Cloud.

## Considerations

- There is no toggle, environment variable, or workspace setting that controls Government Cloud endpoint routing. Routing is automatic and based on the authenticated org's record. To update routing behavior, re-authenticate the org.

- Switching the active org takes effect immediately on the next request. No manual reset, restart, or cache clear is needed.

- Review all generated code before deploying it to your org. Generated code can be incorrect or insecure. You are responsible for validating it.

- Salesforce Hosted MCP Servers are not yet supported in Government Cloud.

- For compliance reasons, VS Code Telemetry is disabled in Government Cloud.

- Government Cloud isn’t supported in the Agentforce Vibes IDE.

- Inline AutoComplete is disabled in Government Cloud.
