# Cadence Data Model

Cadence Builder lets you create and update cadences. When a manager or sales rep adds a target to a cadence, an Action Cadence Tracker keeps track of where the target is in the cadence and the target’s history of completed cadence steps. The other cadence objects store data used by Cadence Builder and the trackers.

This section covers:

- [Cadence Objects](https://developer.salesforce.com/docs/sales/sales-engagement/guide/sales-cadence-objects.md): Describes the family of cadence objects.
- [Object Relationships](https://developer.salesforce.com/docs/sales/sales-engagement/guide/sales-cadence-object-relationships.md): Describes how the objects are related to each other and how objects fields are used.
- [Object Reference](https://developer.salesforce.com/docs/sales/sales-engagement/guide/sales-cadence-object-reference.md): Contains links to the reference documentation of the cadence objects.
