# Supported Browsers

Learn where Canvas is supported.

**important:** To prepare your Canvas apps for the new web browser restrictions on third-party cookies, see [How Third-Party Cookie Restrictions Impact Salesforce Canvas Apps](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=002192971&type=1) in Salesforce Help.

Canvas supports the most recent versions of the following browsers:

-   Mozilla® Firefox® (preferred)
-   Google Chrome™
-   Microsoft® Internet Explorer® (be sure Compatibility Mode is disabled)
-   Microsoft® Edge
-   Apple® Safari® (be sure to set the Block Cookies setting to Never)

Because Canvas is not built on Lightning, it still supports Microsoft® Internet Explorer® 11.

If your app uses session cookies, you might need to set your P3P header to allow for third-party cookies or change the browser settings to allow all session cookies.
