# translateToOtherCalendar()

Translates the input date to a date in another calendar system (for example, the Buddhist calendar) based on the locale.

## Signature

`translateToOtherCalendar(Date date)`

## Parameters

**_date_:** Type: `Date`. A `Date` object.

## Returns

**Type: `Date`** Returns a translated `Date` object.
