# translateFromOtherCalendar()

Translates the input date from another calendar system (for example, the Buddhist calendar) to the Gregorian calendar based on the locale.

## Signature

`translateFromOtherCalendar(Date date)`

## Parameters

**_date_:** Type: `Date`. A `Date` object.

## Returns

**Type: `Date`** Returns a translated `Date` object.
