# Versions

Lists summary information about each Salesforce version currently available, including the version, label, and a link to each version's root.

## Syntax

**URI:** `/services/data/`

**Formats:** JSON, XML

**HTTP Method:** GET

**Authentication:** none

**Parameters:** none

**Version alias:** Instead of a numeric version (for example, `vXX.X`), you can use `latest` in the URI to resolve to the most recently released API version.
